Dry-Docking

This is the single largest routine expense on a vessel over a span of a 2.5 or 5 years’ cycle. If the maintenance of the vessel is neglected between the docking interval it can result in a costly docking far beyond the amount budgeted. A poorly prepared docking specification and planning is also a proven reason for a docking cost to exceed the budget and definitely not get the value for the money spent. These are some of the extremely important aspects which Energios focusses on to manage this large expense item.

Branding

Ship Management is not only about low running cost but also about fulfilling the purpose for which the ship was purchased. The ultimate purpose of a ship is to carry cargo and to this end Energios makes sure that the vessel is available for employment when required. Keeping the requirements of the Owners’ customer, namely the charterers or shippers is important for maintaining and even enhancing the owners’ brand through reliability, transparency and cost-efficiency.
